S. Kadeniuk tereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article analyzes the main ideas of the formation of public agronomy as a socio-economic phenomenon in the organization of agricultural production during the development of the market economy in the Ukrainian lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth after the end of the First World War. It is proved that the foundations of public agronomy activities for the implementation of agricultural knowledge in Galicia of this period were formed on the basis of theoretical research, economic experience and traditions of public agronomic practice. The object of the study is theoretical agronomic thought in Eastern Galicia in the interwar period, the subject is the ways to find optimal means of expanding and bringing agronomic activities closer to the direct owners. It is noted that the cooperation of peasant farms with public figures, ascetics in the dissemination of professional agricultural knowledge in the countryside was of great importance. Among them were E. Khraplyvyi, K. Matsievych, and V. Domanytskyi, who, in particular, considered it his duty to acquaint the Galician Ukrainian public with the theory and practice of public agronomy and to help implement its tasks in western Ukraine. He cooperated with the Agricultural Society “Sylhospodar” through correspondence, published articles in magazines, and sent academic reports to congresses, meetings, and conferences. It is proved that the most important factor in agronomic assistance to the peasantry was the development of theoretical foundations of regional Ukrainian national economic policy in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The founders who successfully combined practical and scientific-propaganda activities were Western Ukrainian agronomists Y. Pavlykovsky, E. Khraplyvy, and A. Romanenko. They emphasized the problems in the formation of agricultural policy, the content and importance of public agronomic activities, directions, methods and means of agronomic assistance. Their works were of an applied nature, based on the analysis, generalization, and systematization of local material and the practical work of agricultural societies in Eastern Galicia.
2025-03-03T00:00:00+02:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://journals.pdu.khmelnitskiy.ua/index.php/pad/article/view/512 KAMIANETS-PODILSKYI BASILIAN HOLY TRINITY MONASTERY IN THE SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL LIFE OF PODILLIA (XVIII – FIRST THIRD OF THE NINETEENTH CENTURY) 2025-04-16T09:35:37+03:00 M. P. Salamakha tereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article examines the activities of the Basilian monks of the Holy Trinity Monastery in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The author analyzes the situation of Basilian monasteries during the “accession” of the Uniates to the Orthodox Church in 1794–1796. It is established that after the third partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1795, the newly annexed Right Bank fell under the total influence of Russia’s great imperial policy, and in the religious and ecclesiastical sphere the Greek-Uniate Church was under the scrutiny of tsarism. It is proved that in 1794–1796 the Russian government not only undermined the foundations of the stable functioning of non-Orthodox dioceses in Ukrainian society, but also began the process of liquidating these religious institutions. It is noted that the Kamianets-Podilskyi Monastery in Podillia was primarily an important spiritual center of enlightenment that carried out educational activities, having founded a theological school. Thanks to their schools, Basilians gained a strong position in society. The political events of the early 90s of the eighteenth century, namely the second (1793) and third (1795) partitions of Poland, led to the fact that Bratslav and Podillia provinces became part of the Russian Empire. This also affected the religious life of the region. The expansion of the Russian Orthodox Church with the support of the tsarist government and troops led to the liquidation of Uniate churches, Basilian monasteries, and their schools in Podillia. Therefore, in 1793, the school that operated at the monastery was closed. The article notes that the study of changes in the transformation of Basilian monasteries as a result of the partitions of the Rzeczpospolita makes it possible to determine their place and role in the spiritual and cultural life of the Ukrainian people in the last third of the eighteenth century.
2025-03-03T00:00:00+02:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://journals.pdu.khmelnitskiy.ua/index.php/pad/article/view/500 MODERN CORPUS TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING UKRAINIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE 2025-04-16T08:32:49+03:00 T. S. Rezunova tereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
More and more scientists are devoting their research to the problem of emotional intelligence and its importance in people’s lives. The article is devoted to the problem of developing emotional intelligence of higher education students through foreign language. An analysis of the scientific approaches of domestic and foreign scientists to the interpretation of the concept of ‘emotional intelligence’ was carried out. Emotional intelligence is considered as a person’s ability to recognize their own and other people’s emotions, intentions, and desires, the ability to manage their own and other people’s emotions in order to solve practical problems. It was determined that the main factors that influence the development of emotional intelligence are: biological (temperament and cognitive abilities), individual characteristics (openness to experience, self-efficacy, locus of control, personality type), external environment (family, nature, national and cultural characteristics). It is argued that memorizing information that is emotionally colored is much better. It is noted that foreign language tools allow higher education students not only to deepen their speech knowledge and skills, but also to experience certain emotions through understanding themselves and others. It is substantiated that the algorithm for developing emotional intelligence of higher education students involves the use of a whole complex of tasks that help relieve psychological and emotional tension, increase self-esteem and self-confidence of students. Tasks that can be used in foreign language classes are proposed: ‘Wise Thoughts’, which will help students to reveal their own potential, develop the ability to analyze their actions and the actions of other people in order to improve their own emotional state, ‘Phantom’ will teach students to see the connection between emotions and physical condition, show the negative impact of bad emotions, ‘Emotional Recharge’ will help students to understand themselves and the manifestations of their emotions better, ‘Overcoming Negative Emotions’ will help students to understand how to manage their emotions better.
2025-03-03T00:00:00+02:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://journals.pdu.khmelnitskiy.ua/index.php/pad/article/view/508 EFFECTIVE METHODS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE PHONETIC COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE DOCTORS AT FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSE CLASSES 2025-04-16T09:17:07+03:00 V.
