EXPERIMENTAL SUBSTITUTION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING THE MOODLE PLATFORM IN FORMING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF FUTURE AGRONOMISTS

Abstract

Society has entered an important period – the development of digitalization. In the modern educational environment, when switching to blended or distance learning, the problem of creating the latest digital technologies for the effective work of the teacher arises. This has necessitated the mandatory use of digital technologies in education, which encourage the use of new e-teaching tools (conducting classes in on-line and off-line modes) and make the educational process interesting and effective. In the context of the further prospects of education, the demand for affordable high-quality education is growing, which makes the creation of new digital educational resources in accordance with European standards for teaching and the formation of digital competence particularly relevant. The article analyzes the organization of training and use of the distance learning course “Fruit Farming” of the Moodle digital platform for the specialty H1 “Agronomy” at the Higher Education Institution “Podilsky State University” (hereinafter referred to as the Institution), which is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the economic and social development of Ukraine, regarding the development of the industry based on the intensification of specialized farms of various categories, the use of scientific achievements, leading domestic and world experience, as well as the needs of industry and the population in fruit growing products. New technologies, globalization and new ideas regarding learning through electronic learning tools, the educational material of which is stored, reproduced and presented using modern technical means, have challenged traditional approaches in the practice of distance education. The use of distance platforms and digital learning technologies is becoming not just relevant, but also a vital and inseparable component for both the Ukrainian education system and the global educational community.
