Abstract

The main goal of the system of higher education of agricultural and technical educational institutions is the training of qualified specialists in accordance with the social order. Therefore, it is the professional activity of specialists that sets and determines the goal of teaching all academic disciplines, including the physics course as the basis of the fundamental scientific training of engineers. The article analyzes the theoretical provisions that make up the basis of the concept of teaching physics for students of higher education at agrarian and technical educational institutions during lectures. Integrative links of fundamentality and professional orientation of physics education for students of higher education at an agricultural and technical educational institution during lecture classes are established and a proven method of conducting them is described. The main methods of implementing the professional orientation of teaching physics in the lecture forms of classes of students of higher education at agrarian and technical educational institutions are disclosed. The main ways of improving the professional knowledge of higher education students while studying the physics course are determined. The basis of the research is theoretical (comparative analysis of scientific-methodical and pedagogical literature) and empirical (observation, analysis and generalization of pedagogical learning experience) methods. It has been proven that the use of professionally oriented material contributes to the formation of the system of physical knowledge of higher education students, as well as the acquisition of various practical skills and abilities. The introduction of professional competence into the educational process stimulates cognitive interest in the study of physics as a science, allows better assimilation of the material of other disciplines of the natural cycle, develops their cognitive and creative abilities, affects the formation of stable motives for obtaining knowledge from special disciplines.
