MODERN METHODS OF TEACHING VETERINARY OBSTETRICS, GYNECOLOGY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY OF ANIMAL REPRODUCTION FOR HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS

Abstract

Veterinary reproductive medicine in today's world requires a high level of professional training and skills when it comes to the health and life of animals. With the passage of time and the development of modern technologies, teaching methods for students of veterinary faculties of higher education institutions are also changing. Educational institutions are actively implementing new approaches and technologies to train future veterinarians so that they are ready for modern challenges in the field of animal husbandry. The last decade is characterized by the rapid introduction of a large number of virtual technologies in various spheres of human activity. The author describes innovative technologies aimed at increasing the effectiveness of education, helping students to acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for successful practice in the veterinary field; the means of ensuring students' access to modern learning technologies, which enable higher education institutions to respond to the challenges of modern times and to form qualified specialists capable of implementing innovations in the field of veterinary medicine, are substantiated. In particular, such tools and technologies as virtual reality allow students to experiment and skillfully perform manipulations without real risks to animals, which helps to avoid possible errors and unforeseen complications in the future, including increasing the safety of practicing doctors, improving psychomotor skills of students and reducing the risks of errors during real procedures . The article substantiates the combination of distance and face-to-face learning, the wide use of interactive lectures, simulation simulators and 3D technologies, multimedia materials, online resources, etc. in the educational process.
